Sam and Kat say ‘I do’ at Taunton Registry Office
Sam and Kat were married at Taunton Registry Office – a popular haunt for any Taunton Wedding Photographer! The ceremony was nice and laid back which is a true reflection of the couple. You can see a selection of my favourite images from their special day below along with a photofilm.
The wedding ceremony
Sam and Kat’s wedding ceremony included touching readings from family and friends and a few giggles too. The flower girls did a great job escorting the couple into the Tudor Hall and the guests couldn’t wait to take a snap of the couple once they had signed the register.
Village hall wedding reception – Norton Fitzwarren
After congratulations and confetti out on the terrace of Taunton Registry Office, the wedding party headed off to Norton Fitzwarren Village Hall. Sam and Kat (and helpers!) had done a great job decorating the Hall after working hard on it the night before.
Afternoon Tea was served, followed by some lovely, heartfelt speeches that brought out the hankies but also had the guests in hysterics. It’s not a wedding without a good workout, and later in the afternoon The Lucy Lastic Band got everyone dancing ceilidh style. As should be evident in the pictures, everyone present rose to the challenge with full gusto!

Did you enjoy Sam and Kat’s ceilidh wedding?
I hope you loved the wedding photos as much as I do. I really enjoyed my day with Kat and Sam and their wonderful guests. A fantastic laid back wedding with a passionate do-it-yourself approach.
