Kealeigh and Paul marry in North Devon
Kealeigh and Paul were married at Fremington Methodist Church near Barnstaple, Devon. It was a bit of a last minute photography job after their original Barnstaple wedding photographer had had to cancel but Kealeigh twisted my arm with the offer of afternoon tea!
A village hall wedding
After the ceremony the party carried on at Alverdiscott Village Hall in deepest North Devon and it was a bloody good job I followed a guest there as I would never have found the place!
Chilling in the afternoon sun
Kealeigh and Paul were blessed with fine weather all day and as the late August sun set over them, guests relaxed and enjoyed drinks provided by Splitscreen Bar from their smart looking VW bar on wheels. Being a Barnstaple wedding photographer, there’s no shortage of great venues to shoot weddings at but these village hall wedding are no less desirable often due to the ‘homemade’, highly personal touches to the wedding.
As the sun slipped below the horizon it was time to bust some moves and the DJ cranked up the volume. The dancing was a great end to the day and produced some fantastic pictures of the wedding party turning it up to 11.
Did you enjoy Kealeigh and Paul’s Barnstaple village hall wedding?
I hope you loved the wedding photos and film as much as I do.

Finally, what Kealeigh had to say after I delivered their wedding photos…
“There are no words to say how much we appreciated Robin at Orbit Photography from saving our wedding photography at the last minute. Robin is such a nice guy who is very relaxed and has a lovely presence. His photographs were fantastic and has made us remember every part of it in the best way. Couldn’t recommend him enough- you will not be disappointed. Thank you Robin- you’re ace!” Kealeigh & Paul.
